Does anybody fancy having a go at getting the 4od plug in to tick the ‘I am over 18 box’ to get it playing?

iPlayer not working here reliably, occassionaly I can view 1 show, then nothing after that.
Have up to date Web video compatability & iPlayer installed but it just loads the initial screen then nothing, timer is going but no video or audio.
Other channels, like freecaster are working fine, though Apple Movie Trailers is also broken
OSX 10.6
Have noticed Boxee has exactly the same problem if its related?

Having exactly the same problem here. Most of the time iPlayer/4oD/Apple Movie Trailers doesn't work, just freezes on "Click to Play" or before, or just get a blank screen. Even when it does work audio is out of sync.
Running on one of the most recent pre Snow-Leopard macbooks, and still on 10.5, so not a 10.6 issue!
Anyone else? It's really annoying because I was just about to buy a mac-mini for Plex, but there is no point if none of this works.

Don't buy a Mac Mini for this purpose only - iPlayer and 4od frequently do not work (4od post-watershed content has been broken since I purchased my Mac Mini a month ago) and there doesn't appear to be any documentation or indication as to whether they are even supported.
I purchased a Mac Mini for the same reason and frankly I'm gutted - they aren't cheap!
This sounds to me (as the developer of a number of other plugins) to indicate that the BBC and Channel 4 have been changing their web site layout or access. This is made even worse in this case since they are geo blocking so no developer outside of the uk (such as myself for example) can look to see what has changed. Keeping up with these changes made by the content provider then falls on a much smaller pool of plugin developers, those from the uk. It seems what is really needed is for someone from the UK user community to come forward and take ownership of these plugins and fix what needs fixing when the content providers change things.

The iPlayer plugin has just been updated. The update fixes the current problems with playback, which were caused by a recent change to the iPlayer site. The update also adds support for HD content from BBC HD, and fixes problems with programme thumbnails for HD content too.

Thanks maurj. I did wonder for a while whether or not iplayer had changed, but just figured that it would get sorted sooner or later. It’s great to have iplayer back again.
I still have problems with 4od. Doesn't seem to be working at all now. Using 10.5 I can see the lists but the programs do not stream at all, they just exit
Hi does anyone know if this plugin is currently working or not? I can only get stuff considered non-adult to play as I think the over 18 tick box problem is still present. I’m using snow leopard and 1.85. Any advice on how to fix this would be very gratefully received as this looks like it could be my favourite plugin if only I could get to work!

@techwebsound: I answered your question in your other thread. For anyone else, a server glitch caused a config file to be rolled back, undoing the age verification fix we released a few weeks ago. All should be working now if you have the latest updates from the App Store.
