Hi. In the 4od plugin i can select a show but all that shows up is a black screen when the video is playing.
It does this with all videos on the 4od player not just over 18s.
Ok, lets get the basic questions out of the way first: Do you live in the UK, can you view videos on the 4oD site, what exactly happens when you try to play a video (do you hear the sound), and have you installed the Flash 10.1 beta (bad idea)? Thanks, and sorry you're having problems :)
Yeah i live in the uk. i just checked the channel 4 site and i cant view the videos on there it just says loading and then stops. I dont think i have the beta installed. I would love to get this working plex is the best app on my mac.
If you can’t view the videos on the C4 site, I’d recommend you contact them first. 4oD in Plex works by “zooming in” on the player in the web page, so if you can’t get it to work in Safari it won’t work in Plex.
Don’t worry about the Flash beta, if you don’t think you have it installed, you won’t 
It wouldn’t affect playback in the browser anyway, but there are some bugs when using the beta with Plex.

I did some research and some ad blocking software can stop the 4od player from working properly.
Also applications like peer gaurdian can block access to the streams so i disabled the filters and it worked fine.
I dont know why i didnt do that at first anyway haha!
