That is intentional. the topic will still show vote count even when closed it is just essentially inactive. Would be great after X amount of time you get 5 new votes you can add else where. This would let you still keep your votes going and help request other features. Example after 1 month you get 5 more votes.

Since Plex pays very little attention to what users really want I fail to see how it really matters if a user get one vote or twelve. Plex will do what Plex wants to do regardless of user votes. That seem to be the common way the mases get “handled” by the higher powers.
