ok i just reopened it. does it show your 5 now on profile.
There was a bug discovered about 6months or so ago where if the topic was moved to another category then closed it would not give back the votes. Should no have had anything to do with stuff that stayed in the category but I suppose that might have fixed whatever you were experiencing.
