The client displays “Talking to server” for a few seconds when I stop playback near the end of movies and TV shows (note: I stop playback, rather than wait for Plex to play through to the actual end, because of another reported bug where the Shield displays a notification that the media is still playing after it has ended). This “Talking to server” message has only started appearing in the 8.3.xxxx beta releases - I’ve never seen it before. It doesn’t appear to cause a problem, but seeing the message only in these recent builds seems strange. Server version is 1.19.4.2935 (Windows 10).
