I have PlexConnect setup on my iMac, and it is running quite happily.
I encountered an issue for which I needed to obtain logs, which could be tricky as the iMac is in the basement, and the ATV is in the living room upstairs. I was using VNC to logon to the iMac from a Windows laptop, when it was suggested I could just run PlexConnect on the laptop, what a capital idea!
I've only just had the time to dust off the laptop and get PlexConnect installed on it, and I've one question before I fire it up and see if it works:
Can I simply copy over there certificate file from the assets/certificates/ folder on my iMac to the same place in the PlexConnect-master folder on my windows laptop, and will everything still work?
As said, I've not tried it just yet, but I'm assuming as the cert on the ATV and the iMac are the same (or generated / installed from the same source) then copying the same file over to the laptop will just work.
