A request since (at least) 2012: Messages to Users on Server

Can you please make a system, so a server owner can send messages to the users on the server? Please.

Send server messages

It would be great as a PlexPass user to unlock a feature to send messages to the viewers. Information on planned maintenance (running every 20min or so) Restart information (one time message) and so on. This would be nice to have when you have a shared server. Vote on the poll, and maybe give a comment in suggestions to make this feature request better. Best regards Sleepwalker

SERVER BRODCAST MESSAGES

this has been requested since 2014 and I’m wondering why this has not become a thing, plex is amazing and very happy with you guys so much I have a membership, it’s just small things like messenger inside the server or even a admin prodcast message that can be sent to al users currently using the server or when they login reguarding server maintance or new uploads would be great I feel plex has really limited the options for a server host

I rly appreciate your work. I love my Plex server for years now. I also would rly appreciate if you focus on the Mediaserver - Client experience again, and not too much on features like the streaming services, because the focus should be on the personal media server experiences.

So pls consider to think about realize this request. You already got a notification system implemented - maybe its easy to use that.
