Was wondering if there are plans for aarch64 rpms? pi4 can easily run fedora,rocky,centos. All rely on RPM packages… I’ve run plexmediaserver previously on rpi4 and centos but there are no images for this platform on the download site. Thanks. Long time Plex user.
They should already exist in the RPM and DEB repos.
Which arch name is your machine looking for?
arm64 ? aarch64 ? armv8 ?
Engineering asks why you’re not using the Raspian repos ?
If I remember correctly, raspian is debian based. It’s a different set of adminstrative tools. I’ve been running PLEX on centos (x64) since I first join it. Was hoping to offload work to a pi4 or pi5.
Any update on this? It looks like RPMs are still only available for x86_64 and i386. I’d like to install plexmediaserver on aarch64 systems running CentOS Stream and Fedora (these are not Raspberry Pis, so Raspian isn’t an option). Thanks!
