When adding channels to the live dvr regardless of where it is coming from any channel that can’t be matched to a guide can’t be added to the system. I have HDHomeRuns that are connected to an antenna. So for me i lose 26 channels that come in as no guide provider lists them for my location. This has been the case for years the one channel station 12 has 9 sub channels all haven’t been in any guide for over 5 years.
It would also be great if some guide data could be chose for muiple channels Some of us live and pick up channels from different regens and depending on the weather one might come in better then then other so we flip flop between them. Or we might have a channel brocasting in both astc1 and astc3 so i can’t even add both.
i mean i would love just to be able to add a channel with no guide and just have it default to blank half hour or hour blocks of time. Like 1 to 2PM then next show ‘2 to 3PM’ as the block label so i could still tune in or manual select to record.
I mean current items prevent me from using the Live DVR options in plex for the house hold.
