Currently it’s very awkward to scroll through the list of shows on a single channel because the horizontal scroll can’t show very many shows or movies at once.
Windows Media Server used to have a feature where you could click to drill down on a specific channel and it would show a list of all the shows in the epg for that channel in a vertical scroll window so it was very easy to quickly scroll through the complete list. I sort of remember it having the option of listing shows by date/time (shows each episode in its time slot) or by name (consolidates the list so each show is only listed once).
