For users that need more control on their Remote Access, provide the ability to define the WAN IP address, vs. yielding to Plex to always find it automatically.
I have multiple WANs with failover and balancing on my network. The plex media server has multiple interfaces, using different WANs and subnets at different times. The Plex media server will find the correct WAN and route, but sometimes that WAN IP will change. I have one WAN that has a constant static public IP address. I need the ability to manually override to set my own WAN IP address (in addition to the port change).
That way the Plex Server will always be able to connect properly.
As a workaround, I can force all the subnet interfaces on the Plex server to always route outbound on the same WAN, but that completely gives up many features of stability and balance that are needed.
