About Plex on a dual boot system

So I have a dual boot system with both Mac and Windows, where movies are saved on a separate hard drive. I have Plex installed in both OS. My question is, is there anyway to let the two Plex sync with each other (mainly posters, summaries).

Interesting,

There is no sync functionality between servers and in any case with a dual boot the two systems would not be operational at the same time so we do not have two systems running to sync with each other even if the servers sync features was implemented

Media can be shared by more than one Plex Media Server

Metadata and the Plex Media Server SQLite3 database should not be shared between servers - however if the two systems never run concurrently and only one system is live at any given time then it may be possible for the two systems to use the same app data - Don’t think it is possible where there are different filesystems - windows and OSX and different folder structure

I would do a proof of concept first with dual boot of, say, 2 different versions of windows

Let the old thread come to life!!

Windows is Main PMS.

Hackintosh Mojave is occasional use.

Created Automator to auto-copy and paste Plex Library onto Mac upon Mac Startup.

You must make sure to add the Mac media folder directories on the Windows PMS, so that when it migrates to the Mac it knows where to look for the media, PMS doesn’t seem to care that it has both Windows and Mac file locations for movies. I didn’t have any conflictions.

I uploaded a picture of the exact Automator setup.
