AC3 5.1 only plays in stereo

I have a Xiaomi Mi TV 4S 55" with a Logitech z906 (5.1 DTS) conected by optical.

When I play videos with AC3 5.1 sound, it only plays in stereo and the Effect Mode is canceled

If it is 5.1 DTS works fine.

I have tried changing the sound mode from PCM to Passthrough in the TV options but it changes nothing.

Everything works normally with KODI.

Any ideas?

With the 1.16 of plex server works ok

Those speakers have several issues with AC3 5.1

Here is just one thread about DTS and the use of an optical connection and a weak rear channel.

in the 1.16 of plex server works ok, only fail on the lasted version of plex. KOdi, vlc, native video player and ds video works ok
