I don’t think Plex does this today but I would love when I go into a movie and click on an actor and it brings back all of the movies that actor has been I. If it would also do that for TV shows also. I have spend so many times watching a movie and thinking hey I know that person but it was from a TV show not a movie and it doesn’t tie those into the search results.
If this could be done it would be pretty cool.

I’m not seeing it from the Plex Server app on Apple TV. It must only be offered in the web client. It would be nice to add that functionality to all apps.
it is in the Apple TV app. Your libraries must be using the newer agents Plex Movie and Plex TV Series.
Prerequisites are also listed in the support article linked by Otto.
Works brilliantly on the Apple TV.
