Adapt the PMP for high resolution monitors

I would think that high resolution monitors would be getting quite common these days.
One problem they have is that some software does not adapt to it and the result is very small text. The PMP seems to be one of these.

I use the “desktop” or “windowed” mode of the PMP. I find the TV mode looks nice on my high res monitor, but to operate it is very annoying - you need both the mouse and keyboard. It is probably OK with what it is intended for - TV’s with remote.

Could you please correct this shortcoming.
This is what the UI looks like on a 2560x1440 screen - just readable, and too much spare real-estate -

Thank you very much, Otto - it is a very valuable work-around, and for me scale factor of 1.3 is just fine.
Much happier now with PMP.
I have a couple of more problems to sort out, I will start new threads on them.

  • workaround available/implemented (see above)
  • obsolete → use Plex HTPC for big-screen use cases
