제가 서버에 연결해두었던 하드가 고장나서 데이터가 전부 삭제되었습니다. 그래서 제 서버에 연결이 안된다구 자꾸 나옵니다. 그래서 제가 서버에 무슨 폴더가 있었는지 서버 로그를 좀 보고싶은데 그것을 알 수 있을까요?

I thought I’d go to this benign thread to drop you a note. A big thank you all your efforts and taking the time to reply to my post directly. Sorry I don’t have the smarts to follow/understand your handmaid packages (I have significant learning issues) I became confused.

I’ve decided it’s best for me to head back to the rock pile and wait for an official release of DSM 7.something and Plex .something. I was able to get Synology Audio Station working. This is huge for me since I am 85% audio 0% games, and 15% IDK. I’m banked for now. Some information that interests only me…I ripped some classic vinyl using MUTU (for convenience) and cabled a DAC into a tube amp I built (300B) sweet but there are circuit path issues. Plex is an entertainment platform. It’s supposed to make people smile. I need to remind myself of that.

That is a SWEET amp setup. Whose headphones ? Sennheiser or something better?

while my hands don’t work well enough to build anymore, I still love my audio.

my last audio project (which will hold me for quite a while):

1. This Technics SL-3350, complete with all the accessories
2. Onkyo RZ-610
3. Polk Signature S20s, S30s, S15 (side), HTS-10
4. USB DAC on the Onkyo LINE OUT – Capturing in Audacity

Most recent project was my infrastructure and compute overhaul

1. two NUC8-I7-HVK (one for desktop, one for PMS)
2. 10 GbE network switch – added cards to desktop, PMS, & NAS
3. 1.44 GbE Internet service and my own firewall (pfSense).

All that is nice but I really miss being able to hold a soldering iron steady like I used to and “Build” something with my own hands. GEEEZ, I miss those days.

This is my baby. She sits here with me, in my dusty office (I live adjacent a farm)

You earned them. Keep the faith. My solder days are gone too. I think it’s called something stupid like essential tremors. Then the legs have neuropathy. Ya don’t want to probe 400vac circuits with tremors. I’m just a solder monkey anyway. Read BOM. Read Schematic Grab part. Place on board. Solder Repeat. Dave at EEV Blog taught me well. Then my head went to heck. Heck Everyone everyone, has Something they’re dealing with. I don’t have the franchise. Thankfully I can still woodwork.

Oh nice stack. I was rude and didn’t look close. I need to go back but I’m not on top of gear anymore. The one brand I kinda like are DAC’s from Schiit. I’ve had two or three and been happy. I don’t even recall what turntable I have. Although …I built a beautiful phono preamp kit from Douglas Self, Signal Transfer Co. in the UK. He’s written quite a few serious books. The 300B has been down for at least 18 months and I’ve been half hearted looking for a person to repair. I’ve already spent $300 and got bubkis I say this because I’ll ship you the phono preamp if you’d like to try them. I think I’d be cool. They worked with no issues, but if something did happen it’s just a FUBAR thing.

So headphones…..Back then I had balanced Audeze LCD-1 maybe LCD-2. Sold them on Audiogon. I’ve been without for several years until 2 months back. I know I’m gonna get some cr@# for …….my new Apple AirPod Max cans. For my ears they are “good”. and real handy not being tethered.

I can’t find a fifth grader to proofread this so I’m just sending it

pfSense is a repurposed ASUS mini tower with:

1. i7-3770K
2. 16 GB RAM, expandable to 32 GB
3. 2x 32GB SSD (OS - mirror)
4. Intel x710-T2L , dual M-gig NIC.

The NUC boxes are dual connection. (MAIN network and Storage Network architecture)

One of these days, I’ll grab another NUC and move the card into the NUC and then drop the NUC on the shelf

Really glad I took the time to write.
Hope everything is going swimmingly and you’re keeping it mellow. You deserve it. I looked up your gear… and wow! You are farming CPU’s You’ve got to be cut off. Don’t be in denial about this, there must be a place you can go to attend a group discussion. I had a pfSense on a minnow but I needed help on everything. Well I was able to build it from the little USB stick. Now I have a Firewalla Gold and I love it. Again I had help putting it in but I understand some parts of the command interface and they send out a lot of tutorials.

I had PLEX running on my DS 7.x NAS Because the package was there saying “please click me”. It wasn’ Approved Chuck-PLEX. I was a lazy dog “Click and run” My main problem with the file tree was kinda fixed a got to play some of my music via PLEX. I think I mentioned this earlier. The only entertainment I have is music.

The music source is a Synology DS720+ NAS Feed to and via network to be amplified by a Marantz NR1609 audio video receiver. PLEX, and Synology DS-Audio and HEIOS all played but they hijacked all the sources on the Marantz and wouldn’t give them back. Switch to FireTv…. 10 seconds later you’re back on Network Music. Flat out could not find “it”. I had to pull the network cable.
Until today. I put Audirvana (Studio) on my MacBook Air. It is syncing the music library from the NAS, artwork etc. But I added an intermediary. This is a testament to Audirvana’s configuration flexibility and this fixed the problem. The software recognized my Oppo DVD as having network music playing capabilities. This is a great piece of gear (Kit for those reading in the UK) I selected the Oppo as an HDMI source it’s on the Marantz. Bingo It be work’n real slick like. All sources on the Marantz are HDMI (none are network) no more hijacked sources. Audirvana has a wonderful codec and a remote piece for handheld devices. Many, many thanks
