Add a Date Added field to the edit section of any media file.
There’s “Originally Available” but nothing for Date Added that is easy to adjust within Plex Media Server. The only current way to do this is to use an sql database editor. Attempting this on a headless ubuntu server is nearly impossible.
I second this motion. I would love to be able to edit the Date Added field.

It makes editing the Added_At metadata simpler AND safer than manipulating the DB directly.

In some situation, medias can be removed and readded. It’s very annoying that we can’t edit added date easily
Having this same issue. I’m not very hopeful that this will be added, does anyone know of a third party script or an external way to do this? Perhaps with a sql command?

While we wait for the change to appen, can someone help me change the date, My disk crash i change to a backup one but rescan my files and they are all added today, it a nigntmare.
I try to edit the added_at in metada_items table but I get error unknown tokenizer: collating
