There’s an existing feature request asking to support such STRM files – I suppose this is aiming at actually playing those files through Plex.
There’s another suggestion asking to do a direct link to online streamers – though this suggestion has zero votes.
I suggest you vote/comment in those threads to avoid distracting attention by having multiple suggestions on the same matter.
