This is something that is already supported in the Windows Plex Player as well as the WebOS Player and that is the ability to delete the entire season when selecting the “More” submenu for an individual episode.
My watching behaviour is to watch an entire season of a show before I remove it from my server so I can go back and rewatch something if necessary. Once I am done I will select the delete season option when accessing the more submenu of an episode. Currently, the only option available to Android-based players is the delete episode option (I recently switched from an LG WebOS TV to a TCL running Google TV but also have a FireTV Max with the same issue as well).
Just to clarify… you’re asking for an option to manually delete the season from Android/FireOS clients, not an automated option?
Because I currently don’t have an Android client at hand: is the option currently available for the season itself (as you specifically mention that you want to trigger this from the context menu of an episode.
The requested behaviour is to have a manual Delete Season Option when selecting the “More” (this is the … option) context menu of an individual episode (currently only delete episode is available).
As mentioned both the WebOS client and the Windows client have this available. I have provided a screenshot of the Windows client.
I forgot to answer the last part of your question, with regards to delete season. When you only have one season the navigation goes directly from show to episode unlike when you have multiple seasons you navigate Show/Season/Episode so you can’t actually select the season to delete.
