Currently, I can delete Movies or I can Cancel the Download for a TV Show series. Please make it so that both can be deleted. Going through Library view to remove a download series requires the series to be canceled to remove it locally.
I’m not sure I understand what you’re suggesting.
You can delete downloaded items only through the related download job. If you downloaded an individual movie, you can delete that download item individually. If you downloaded a season / show / album / playlist, you can only delete the entire download job (=season/show/album/playlist) but not individual items.
That is true, but when you have an entire season of a TV Show, there is no delete option. There is only Download->Cancel Download. We need a Delete option so that TV Show seasons and Movies are done the same.
Are you on the Items tab of the Downloads section?
This option is available in the iOS client and working fine (both in the context menu and by swiping the download item (season).
If this is actually missing… on what version of the Plex for Android client are you?
Yes, items tab. It has been every version since the move to Downloads. Current version is 8.29.1.30697.
Could you do me a favor and double-check if the Delete option is also missing if you download an individual episode?
Similarly for a single track vs. album?
Does your Android offer an option to swipe the item (right-to-left) to delete?
That appears to be a bug that there is no delete option for a season. You can also swipe left on the item to delete.
