I would like Plex to support displaying Extended Cut of episodes for TV shows similar to how it supports other Extra content as descripted the Local Files for TV Show Trailers and Extras support article.
Please add support for “Extended” as an Extra_Directory_Type for subdirectory convention and “-extended” as an Extra_Type for file naming convention for local files for TV Shows.

I suppose an extended episode is more in line with editions (e.g. different cuts) than local extras.
Editions are currently only available for movies but there’s already an existing feedback thread where this is being requested to be added for tv-show libraries too.
It would be similar I suppose to editions used in movies. I only used the word extended because that happens to be what I am currently trying to name, as they are labeled as Producers Extended Cut. Currently, I have to name them with “-other” to ensure they are at an episode level.
