I have read the information on [https://support.plex.tv/articles/local-files-for-tv-show-trailers-and-extras/] and this all works, however the files are presented as a horizontal slider underneath the Seasons. This can get very long with lots of extras files, and it doesn’t really match the UX for other media files in a TV show which get put into Seasons folders.
My feature request is for these Extras folders to show alongside Specials and Seasons at the TV-Show level as another type of folder. eg [Specials, Season 1, Season 2, Featurettes, Trailers, Other] etc.
There’s an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to group extras of the same type inside the extras hub (which is pretty much what you’re asking for except it’ll keep the extras separate from the main media).
Unless you insist on throwing the extras in with the main content of your show (for show-level extras; I suppose it’ll be similar when listing season-level extras alongside episodes?), I suggest you comment/vote in that existing thread to avoid redundant suggestions.
