Add movies to library and then scan. Library loses 400 movies. Scan again to get full count

I’m having a problem with “Scan Library Files” removing movies from the database and then adding them back on the next scan. If I add a movie to my movies library and then scan, the new movie will be added and sometimes around 400 existing movies are removed from the library.

When I re-scan again all 2300 movies show up but I loose all the history etc when they are re-scanned

how are you adding the movies. Are you editing the library settings? What is your agent settins for that library? what if you folder structure like. Probably need to see server logs after it happens

Disable “empty trash automatically” in the server preferences.
