i.e. say you have a library of 1000 movies, and I want to restrict user mike from seeing 10, 20, 30 of those movies:
currently I would have to label 970+ movies with a label like 'show-mike' which is a huge pain, time consuming and unsustainable as every time I add a new movie I'd have to explicitly add the tag to show it to mike.
if you had an option for negative label restrictions, I could simply label the 10+ movie with a label 'hidden' or 'hide-from-mike'
ideally, the ui would have a drop down before the labels field, with the option(s): show movies with label x, hide movies with label x
that way you could simply toggle the function of the labels filters to either include or exclude the specific labels.
I’ve had users ask me to filter out some “special” films from the share I provide them based on the standard ratings and simply told them NOPE can’t do it. I’m not going to jump through hoops when a simple negative filter is all that’s needed.
