I use Plex as a digital signage solution where I create .mp4 files, upload them to the server and loop them on my displays around the building. I was very excited about the News feeds, especially the “Local Now” section which has awesome 60 second updates on weather, traffic, local news, which would be perfect to insert between my .mp4 videos, however I cannot seem to figure out how to add news to a playlist which contains other content. I can create a playlist of as many videos as I want OR I can create a playlist of News content, but I cannot create a playlist containing BOTH videos and News content. Am I missing something? When I try to add News content to my video playlist it just switches from one content to the other.
This is not possible.
