Many times my kids use the Plex app on an iOS device, the younger they are the more often we are faced with the following scenario: the kid clicks something he/she shouldn’t, taps the screen and the controls show up, double taps the screen thus zooming the content etc. in all of these cases we are called in and asked to “fix” it.
I really wish there was an option to lock the controls in a play state disabling any interference from random clicks, until say you click a “lock” icon for 10 seconds consecutively to unlock. Essentially some kind of a child lock for the controls. I have it in some other devices and apps and its really useful when one has small kids.
I suppose what you describe is already covered in this existing feature suggestion.
Unless I’m mistaken / not seeing some critical part… I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting votes and we close this thread as a duplicate.
