I have read many feature suggestions on the theme of sorting and searching playlists. Most have closed, and many of those that remain are now so overflowing with ideas that it is difficult to ascertain whether there remains a cogent request. As such, I decided to create a new topic, to make a narrow request, and to do my best to be specific.
The Plex Web App search box has a drop-down menu, which is accessed by clicking on an arrow on the left hand side of that search box. The menu options limit the scope of the search for the text entered. Would it be possible to add “Playlist” there as an additional menu option?
Put another way, once the user has navigated to a playlist, could an additional option—something like “Playlist,” or “This playlist”—be made available in that drop-down menu, to limit the scope of the search to the playlist then displayed?
