When playing audio from Google home device (ie Nest Hub Max), you cannot select Plex as a music provider. That’s fine, we have a workaround to cast from the phone to the device. However, when doing so there is no way to issue a voice command to skip a song, ie “ok Google, skip this song”. The only way to skip the song is to get your phone, and use the skip button from there.
The onscreen controls on the Google device being casted to are also missing it. This makes it annoying to do anything handsfree while listening to music from Plexamp because if you want to skip a song you have to use your phone controls or go to the device that’s being cast to and drag the slider to the end of the song.
Seems like a massive oversight to not have skip functionality via voice.
