Could you please add Slovenian (Slovenščina) as an option in the Library language settings?
Many popular movie databases, such as IMDb and The Movie Database, support a wide range of languages, including Slovenian, yet Plex doesn’t currently offer this option. Expanding the language choices in Plex would be a valuable enhancement for international users.
Adding additional languages should be straightforward and essential in 2024. We pay for and support Plex, and improvements like this would significantly enhance the user experience. Please consider making this update soon. Thank you!
but it just doesn’t seem fair to me that library languages are included in this feature suggestions system. Not all countries are the same—countries like Germany or China can easily gather a large number of votes, while smaller countries, like Slovenia (situated between Austria, Italy, Croatia, and Hungary, with around 2 million inhabitants), will never be able to achieve as many votes. That’s why languages should simply be excluded from this system. One of the primary tasks of the engineers should be to ensure that international users can have the library in their own language.
You got the wrong message from what I wanted to share (and which I maybe should have explained).
My point was there’s no guarantee a feature suggestion is being picked up for implementation if you yell loud enough (no offense). You made a feature suggestion and didn’t place an order in a drive-through restaurant

They do read but they’re setting their own priorities for their products (to a degree inspired/motivated/moved by our suggestions). That also means, there’s no hard requirement that your suggestion cannot be implemented because it only got 18 votes (as of today).
Edit: just trying to manage expectations – even with unlimited resources, they cannot satisfy every single suggestion as some of those are contradicting. And as a company, they have limited resources, so they need to prioritize.
A library available in multiple languages is extremely important for international users. In this day and age, it should be added without issue, as it’s not that difficult to implement. I still firmly believe that having languages in the library should not be treated as a feature suggestion—it should be mandatory for Plex engineers.
Than at least enable it for us to add our custom language ourselves? As it was possible some versions before as I can read on these forums… We can use other servers metadata if it won’t be possible from Plex ones.
I don’t mind having everything in english, but have elderly parents at home that can’t use it because of this.
But this would still be way more welcome than majority of bugfixes I saw on my latest update release notes. Either to add language by Plex or some way for us to add it ourselves somehow. All Plex UI seems to be translated to Slovenian already, just content metadata can’t be pulled in this language.
