Add streaming services to Discover outside of region

When browsing ‘Discover’ a lot of content is restricted because my selected streaming services are also restricted to my region/country.

Please make it possible to add streaming services regardless of region.

I would also like to see the ability to add streaming services manually. For example my region is AUS, and I use Viki which does not need any type of VPN (and is shown as a supported region on Viki’s website).

However because they are using the Justwatch API , even if you go to Justwatch using AU, it does not show Viki as a streaming service. I do understand this is not technically a Plex issue as they query the API by locale (and am raising it with Justwatch as well). But it would be great to manually add services, additionally for those who may use VPN or such as well.

I would like to see the ability to add services outside my region to Discover as well. Although I understand the API limitation, I think as a feature it does not make sense to restrict services just based on current region. Maybe Plex can let users have a list of preferred regions?

Why, as a UK user, can I not add available services like Crunchyroll to Plex? Why am I not allowed to add just any service to Plex? What if I want to know if a TV series is available on some service or another, whether or not I can subscribe to it, without clicking through to another dialogue?

Let users add what streaming services they want visibility on. I know it won’t let us stream it through Plex, but I can definitely say Crunchyroll is available within the UK, as are many other services the app claims aren’t available to me.
