Discover ‘select streaming services’ list is blank/empty

As per post title, the discover page seems to be working ok, showing trending stuff, trailers etc. If I select the ‘select streaming services’ button, a screen opens with a done button and some help text referencing a menu in the left. There is no menu on the left. No list, no entries to select.

I’m wondering is the list geo-filtered and there’s nothing ‘available’ in my location (Guernsey, Channel Islands)?

Forgot to mention, this happens on all my devices, 2x Apple TV, iPhone, desktop on Mac, desktop on Windows.

Same here. This feature doesn’t work for me and fellow Plexers in Israel as well.
Seems like a very cool feature, too bad…

Same here, and the app now keeps crashing at loading.

Same here in Hong Kong/Macau

The same in Ukraine (No streaming services found for your region)

I can confirm it is not working in Israel as well.
There is a list of countries that feature is available?

Please make sure that you are not using any VPN services,. before doing the following.
Login to plex.tv, then go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/streaming-services
Does it say “no streaming services found/available”?
Do you know for a fact that legal streaming services are available in these locations (without the need to use a VPN)?

If so, please report the country/region and perhaps a few major streaming services which should be available.

Hi I am from Israel and after updating the web app and reading manuals, is there
a possibility that the service is not available in my country, if so it is very disappointing as
a paying client.

Waiting for your reply
Alex

Plex Discovery does not have Roku Chanel as an available Streaming service in Canada .
Plex Actually installed and linked on my Roku and still does not show Roku Channel.
Roku Channel is available for selection in U.S.

Hey! I’m from Israel and we have few legal paid streaming services:
Amazon prime video
Netflix
Apple tv+

In June we’ll receive also Disney+.

I’m very excited to use this amazing new feature.

I can confirm that all UK streaming services are available from within the Channel Islands without needing VPN and I’m not using any VPN service. I subscribe to and regularly use (again with no VPN) Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, BBC iPlayer, itv hub, my5 etc.

The Plex web app gives me the ‘No streaming services found for your region’.

The iPhone app gives me an empty list with no message.

The Apple TV app gives an empty list as per the above screenshot

I am also getting the error “No streaming services found for your region” in Mauritius.

The following streaming services are legally available here, no VPN required:

  • Netflix
  • Disney+
  • Apple TV+
  • Showmax

Confirmation that it’s not working in Israel.

Same in Slovenia. No VPN is being used, and the message is the same. We have Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV+…

I’m located in Israel and have the same issue. The “Select My Streaming Services” button does nothing on my apps (Windows 10, Smart TV, and Android streamer)., and the “Streaming Services” settings page displays the message “No streaming services found for your region”. I don’t use a VPN app and there are numerous streaming services available legally in my area, including Netflix and Amazon Prime.

In Ukraine, I’m using

Netflix
Apple TV
Amazon Prime

but no with Plex :frowning:

Puerto Rico is having issues as well:

  • Apple TV+
  • Disney+
  • Discovery+
  • Hulu
  • Netflix
  • Pantaya
  • Prime Video
  • Tubi

Curious thing is that I logged into app.plex.tv while connected to VPN (USA Server) and when I go to the Streaming Services section, I was able to setup my services there. If I disconnect from VPN, and I go to the same place, it says that there are no services in my region. If I try on my Android or iOS devices, it always says that I have no services in my region, regardless of if I am on VPN or not.

I have full access to Netflix, HBO Max, Viaplay etc. without VPN in “my region”, but still, I only see the “No streaming services found for your region” in my Plex - Discover.
I am from the Faroe Islands (a self governing part of Denmark), so “my region” should be the same as whatever region Denmark is placed in. In general, we have access to the same app’s as Denmark.
