so i know if i put a thumbnail of an episode in a season folder it will update in plex to show the new image for that specific episode.
can i do the same for a collection poster?
or is it a different way to do it? or do i manually have to change the collection poster with my custom one?

In a normal movie folder, you can just add the poster to the folder naming it “cover.jpg”
There’s no folder in your file system for a collection so you have to do it manually
Maybe someone else knows of a trick I’m unaware of
Click the pencil on the collection and either drag and drop it, choose it from another location on your computer or input a URL for the image (you probably already know this method)
