I would like to see a feature were we can use Plex Media Server as a live slideshow app.
Imagine hosting an event, wedding, graduation, etc..etc… Today I sometimes use Plex Media Server to load images into a library to show a picture slideshow with images and video dedications.
I would be great if we could put a QR Code on the screen, that when scanned by a guest, would bring them to an upload page, were they could contribute a picture of video dedication to the slideshow. The media would be added to the library and play after moderation from the PMS Admin.
This way family and friends from all over the world could watch the event unfold, and contribute to the event remotely.
I have built apps for this purpose myself, using React.js, but implementing this into Plex would be amazing.
That being said, I have not looked into the API section yet, so perhaps there is an upload API I could connect my own to. My app as the upload app, and Plex as the player.
