As the title suggests, I want to add movies or TV shows that I can only have available from my streaming services to existing Collections or Playlist that include media I own and is in my library.
My use case is that early on, I ripped my DVD/Blue Ray discs and have added them to my library, however now, I mainly just view media via streaming services. I have Collections and Playlist for Marvel Movies and Shows but I can’t add Marvel Movies and Shows I have access to via Disney + only. I would like to create the Collection and/or Playlist that can mix all media types (Movies & Shows from my library and Movies and Shows from streaming sources).
I hope this makes sense and wasn’t already requested.

There’s an existing suggestion discussing an option to add references for streaming media via Plex Discover to a local library. This would also allow adding those items to playlists/collections. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes (unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion).
Thanks for directing me to the similar ask. I will mark this as solved and vote on that request. It seems like it has been asked for a while, so not too confident it will get done.
