Adjusting subtitles on AppleTV device

Hi

Just purchased an AppleTV. I installed Plex on it.
My movies are located on my NAS.

Everything worked instantly flawlessly.

While I was watching a movie, I saw that the subtitles have a transparent black box below my text.
I noticed that the options for subs are limited. Couldn’t change the size of my subs either.
Any solution for that.

Any tips or tricks to have more control about the subs.

Before the AppleTV, I was running Plex on a MacMini, where I had more options about subs.

By default the subtitles configuration in the Apple TV is central and not app-based. Go to the Apple TV settings and change it there. You have there as well an option to let an app override the global settings.

indeed, I found it.
Thought it was in the plex settings.
I could edit it under accesibility
