Admin Access by Plex Users

So everybody in my household knows my plex pin. Because when we sit down to watch a movie I have to openly input my pin code. With that information, all one has to do is log on to plex.tv with their email and password and then on the user screen they can input MY ADMIN PIN and then have complete access to delete/edit content, invite users, adjust settings, etc…

I am requesting another layer of security.

you could have an own managed (non-admin) user for yourself to watch content on your tv

If you have this type of users, you should not invite them into your Plex Home.
Then they cannot switch to your account.

Agreed. I just want to prevent accidents from users that may not know that their deletions and setting changes are global and not user specific.

Genius. I love your out of the box thinking.

I will do this.

This is what I do. I have my admin account setup just to administer my libraries, server settings, etc. The last account in this screenshot is an account for both my girlfriend and I. That’s the one we actually watch content on.
