I recently setup a Plex server for a family member and after doing so we invited each other to both servers. Shortly later I tryed to log into my plex account and I was no longer the admin, but my family member was. We were both admins on ower own servers before the swap…
Any idea what happened or how to fix this?
Sounds like you accidentally joined your family members Plex Home instead of “just being friends”. There should have been a popup with an extensive warning about how joining another Plex Home will impact your setup.

The admin of the home and the admin of the server are two different things.
to leave thier home click the X at the end of your accounts row in home settings.
