Adult Agents for Gay Titles

Hi!

Does anyone know of a working Adult Metadata agent that will accurately identify gay titles?

I have tried most of the straight ones that have a few gay titles but most return way off titles.

Thanks

i second this!

does anyone know if any solution has been found yet for an adult metadata agent for gay titles? There have been some posts about this in the years past, but nothing recent. I have a large library and am trying to figure out how to move it into Plex from My Movies. I'm hoping I don't have to add each title manually...

I've been working on a metadata plugin for this, but had a few questions about what people are looking for.

  1. Is your library primarily scenes (e.g. content from sites rather than optical media)?
  2. Is you library primarily full movie titles (e.g. Those available on DVD/Blu-ray)
  3. For Scenes, do you leave the default file name or rename them?
  4. Are there specific sites you use to get manual metadata?
  5. How should actors be tracked when generic names are used(e.g. Just adding something like 'Will' as an actor would aggregate across studios)
  6. What studios should I start with?

At the moment I have a rough metadata fetcher for SC, but it needs the default file name to lookup the video page. I'm planning on adding a fall back search of something like waybig, but the search on that site is pretty abysmal.

full movies and i use www.groovymovies.com

Full movies & Scenes.

Renamed to sort of try and approximate the plex standard, so something like
Studio Name - Title (year) quality indicator - some extra info.extention

I'll PM CaptRamius some examples - don't know if Plex will like having these titles all over their pages :P

This meta agent would make my life SO much easier... also, a renamer if anyone's aware of anything? (something like SickRage / Couch potato / ...)

Full movies and Scenes too. But any agent would help. It's a hard work to do manually... :(

Here is what I sent to rw.aldum:

So I had a Sean Cody scraper working then they went and changed the site and broke it. At this point the only one I have working reliably is HelixStudios, due to their search function working when not logged in. I reached out to CorbinFisher about an API for metadata lookup and they said they had no plans for one (even though I suspect the Roku App uses some API).
Here are the main issues I'm hitting:
1. JavaScript required (Some sites, e.g. CorbinFisher, require JavaScript which the http library in Plex doesn't support. This causes the scrapper to just get a error message)
2. Caching issues. (Auto update setting on the sever fires tends to update and refer him metadata for all files, when a new file is added)
3. Cookie usage (Some sites e.g. GuysInSweatpants) use cookies to track the acceptance of the 18+ modal dialog. There appears to be issues with the requests being asynchronous so not all requests get cookies) resulting in odd results).
4. Search Issues (many sites have horrible search functions that are incapable of finding results with special characters in the title e.g. HelixStudios search is unable to find titles with apostrophes in them, WayBig blog has a similar issue)
5. Naming conventions (we need to establish some naming/sorting conventions to make sure a title is searched forth the right agent for the right site/studio. At present I have this done by checking the enclosing folder name)

I'll put what I have on GitHub Wednesday.

This would be amazing!

Thanks a lot. If i get just some titles, it will be wonderful anyway. ^:)^

Lucky me it's wednesday when i go searching for something like this lol.

github.com/iklier/plex-gay-metadata-agent

At present I only have the one agent working, but it is able to fetch the following: title, release date, actors, description, poster images (you can switch them in edit), and studio.

This allows you to filter videos by studio and actor.

Please let me know if you have any issues or have solutions to the known issues.

Here is the agent on github. I'll upload more agents as I get them working, if anyone knows a site, not waybig, that gets updated information across multiple studios/site that has a nice search function and decent size images let me know.

Thx!!!! I'm going to intall it right now!!!

I do my best to manually match most things in my library. And for a lot of studio stuff I copy a lot of the data from tlagay.com - unfortunately though you can't add cast tags yourself which is extremely annoying. It would be great if there were a way to scrape data from them. I know nothing about writing code, just hope someone is awesome enough to be able to automate what takes forever to do manually.

Well Staxus and HelixStudios both work for any OS. Was linux and mac earlier this week.
Genre was added, and the tag is the url to the videos homepage.

http://www.aebn.net/ will be added though I am not coding that yet if someone wants to code it for me.

If https://www.freebase.com/ starts up again looks like they are shutting down, I would suggest copying all the meta data to them.

Here http://www.iafd.com/ it is i found it. Only thing is they are private in how they update. You have to suggest changes to them. If this was open for everyone to make changes there would only need to be one agent.

This is different from being a metadata agent, as not all of the data exists as yet. I assume everyone knows that TMDb alllow adult content?

I’ve added a number of movies (mostly Helix and Staxus) and a couple of others also post. I’ve sought clarification from them for ‘scenes’ and it is OK to add these too:

So, if people are willing to add content there (it really doesn’t take long), there would quickly be a robust agent already available that has the following advantages:

  • it’s subject to far less impact than relying on the content creators willingness to keep everything the same and allow data to be scraped from their site.
  • both posters & fanart can be added
  • it can resolve the issue of sites requiring membership

Whilst the work done by CaptRamius is fantastic, I definitely do not envy him the task of maintaining this for all content creators individually. Thought I’d share this on the off chance it hadn’t been considered.

If you want to see an example, you need to register a TMDb account, go to your account details and allow adult content to be seen. Try searching Balls Deep by Helix Studios.

Thanks for the input The Movie Database already has an agent under freebase. It could be added to this agent as an attribute to. Since Helix and Staxus allow for searching the latest videos and updates can be made. So until they remove that ability this agent should be better. I’ll make it so that people can use The Movie Database as a secondary to the studios.

Ideally, we could use The Movie Database agent as the primary agent and use the studio specific agents as supplemental.
That way we can add data for studios with non-existent search functions and provided data for scenes and movies where we have a studio plugin but it can't search for specific titles ala Helix and special characters.

Then we would establish a set of metadata conventions that are used across both movie database and custom agents (e.g. Naming first name only actors across different sites, like Sean on SC and ACM/CF). Then we could setup some sort of group communication (Slack?) so folks who want to help can choose a site to help with and coordinate work.

Yea, having a working SeanCody agent be rendered useless by their new UI was disheartening.

If you want to see an example, you need to register a TMDb account, go to your account details and allow adult content to be seen. Try searching Balls Deep by Helix Studios.

Looks great!
