Hello everyone the gay adult videos Metadata Agent is finally ready. The agent will be updated periodically for improvements and added sites.
Gay Metadata Agent / Cockporn
Description:
The Plex Media Server Cockporn is a Metadata Agent to request data from various gay adult sites. It has allows for the movie database and local file information as the backup agents if the title isn’t found on the site. After your database is scanned by Plex the Agent will do a search query and the highest conformity will result in a detailed request of the title. Cockporn supports the Movie category.
Awesome work indeed! And I agree that seeing AEBN added would be amazing. I see over on the Git page someone referenced the XBMC scraper collection that includes the AEBN Gay content, so I’m guessing that would help? Other sites that I would enjoy seeing would be Boy Crush/Bare Twinks. AEBN already has most of the full length videos from BC and BT, but your scrapper is doing amazing for the clips.
So, I don’t know a whole lot about GitHub, but I was hoping to install this via the new Unsupported Apps from WebTools, but it expects a .zip for the actual .bundle tree. Is there a way to configure GitHub to support this as an option?
2016-02-18 02:29:35,017 (7f6ac7fff700) : CRITICAL (git:403) - Tried to install /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/plex-gay-metadata-agent.bundle but dir levels did not match
Obviously it is wanting to find a CockPorn.zip, a Helix and a Staxus etc etc
So, back to adding other sites … thanks to some killer insomnia, I did some studying of this agent as I was trying to compare it to the XML from the XBMC scraper.
So it looks like the URL and HTML structure are required for any given site, but having that it shouldn’t be too hard, correct? I was looking at both Boy Crush and Bare Twinks and unless you’re a paying member you seem to be stuck on their tour.XXXX URL so it’s hard to research.
Seems to be similar for a lot of other sites.
I see where where the Python code is smart enough to strip out a lot of potential file name fluff to get the search as tight as possible. I can see where this might complicate things a little with AEBN. I just don’t know enough about XML and such to really understand what the XBMC scraper does. I know I’ve used it in the past, but I always had cleaned up my file names in advance of importing it into XMBC, so I am not sure how well it works…
And tried something with one of my Helix videos. “Bang My Twink Hole” from 2013. It matches to “Working Up a Sweat” which appears to be a clip from the movie. No fault of the scraper, as any time I type that into the search box, that is the first hit. Whole movies from Helix are viewable on the Helix site, but not searchable, but they can be searched on the site you get to from clicking on “Store” Which takes you over to Man Kind Video.
Also I see that both sites really need the name of the clip, not just the names of the stars. The search engines on the sites don’t work with just the model names.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could do a pull request on github with these images!
Right now the issue is that any time you update Plex, the whole MediaFlags bundle which is off of the usr/lib/plexmediaserver tree gets overwritten with a new number, so it stops working. I don’t know if it can be configured to use a copy of this bundle from the /var/lib/plexmediaserver tree. I haven’t had time to test because I was on vacation as well as having some other issues on my setup right now since I started using my own SSL cert.

/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins
is where I install it first. It then gets moved over to the

You are referring specifically to the MediaFlags bundle correct? I’ll have to try that after work tomorrow. Had a lot of other stuff going on of late.
So to ressurect this older thread, I’m hoping there are people here interested.
Whilst AEBN is pretty good for movies, you can’t do anything about those that are missing and sometimes the naming is random (rarely, but I have had a few).
TMDB is OK in that we can add them, but cannot differentiate between scenes and movies, and quite often the images are removed or an over-zelous mod get excitable.
I’ve created a site - gayporncollector.com - which user can add the content to. The only time anything will be changed is to correct incorrect information. The Movies and scenes are separate and the search works with all special characters. I’ve also added a field under scenes for an ID (many studios use these). This, again, is searchable and could make for an easy way to improve matches - especially when dealing with scenes named like “Bryce and Connor”. The search also allows for multi level searching - “Active Duty Bryce and Connor” would provide a much better result in a scraper.
So - is this something people would want to add to (I know some add to TMBD)? Is this a site the coders of the scraper would support?
