How can I create a manual match?
I am trying to plex content/389173 and it doesn’t take. I have tried renaming it. I have also tried to enter it in the fix match dialog, even with the number (389173). It won’t find anything for this title.

Any ideas or suggestions?
Hi. I need help. Where i can find the Adult data18 database and how i can install this database. I’m newbie. Thx
Another dumb question for you guys. The Data18 Agent is actually working fine for me, with one weird problem. It only auto-discovers about a fourth of what I import, but those import just fine. The ones that aren’t auto-matched I go in, click “Match” and it fails to find the movie (which has already been renamed by a scraper to be the exact same name as Data18 has). However if I click “Search Options” and it shows “Movie Title” as the Title it won’t find anything. However if I make a change, which I usually just delete the last letter, it will find it just fine. So I remove the e to have “Movie Titl” and it will find “Movie Title (2017)” with no problem.
It works, it’s just annoying to have to go into every video file. Anyone have any suggestions? (Also some of the auto-matched files are multi-part, some aren’t. Doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason)

I am having the exact same problem. I can’t see to find a pattern to why it works for some and not others. The only guess is maybe a limit imposed by data18 on how many requests I can make at a time.

Data18 seems to have add another security (other than the capping on the number of requests by amount of time).
From time to time when I go to data18 website, I prompted with (this screen), after clicking the website work again as the agent.
Another thing, every request made by the agent to data18’s website is cached for 24h, even when the website show this warning, or return an “number of request excedeed”, or any other errors. You can delete the plugin cache ( Plug-in Support/Caches/com.plexapp.agents.data18-content) or wait 24 hours to try again.
Hey everyone!
I can’t, for the love of me, get the Data18-Content.bundle to work. Data18.bundle works without a problem. If I search (with Data18.bundle) for a match with the ID it finds it instantly. When I try to do the same with the Content.bundle, however, it gives me nothing. I’ve also tried searching for the exact title of the scene. Still nothing. I can’t help but feel like the Content.bundle is broken at the momtent?
Somebody else have the same problem?
Edeke: Yes, me. Exactly the problem you describe. Suddently. Worked perfect for the last 8 month. Dont know what happened!
Edit: And works again. I dont get it. I can only suggest to restart the server. And then try matching with some other agent, then switch back to Data18-Content, delete the Plugin Cache and voila.
Is there a way that the scan / match could be throttled to a certain number per minute lets say? I guess this could help to avoid getting blocked and yet index a large® library?
I can’t for the love of God get the content plugin to work.
I’ve replaced the .py with the one recommended above - it shows up in plex, but with no toogle and no matches.
the other agent which are not content works fine!
Is it still working for others? I name my files the number from data18, that worked on my other machine back in the days
@KanalenGuf - Yes, still works with either the ID from data18, the title or the “actor in …”
has any of you also experienced as well that data18 is not updating the content part as well anymore? There are many studios, tushy, vixen etc which have not been updated now in weeks?
@spansihu: Yep. Same problem. But thats something you can blame the agent for
Are these agents dead? I mean, I can can only get Data18 to recognize something by renaming the file to the ID numbers, but doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose? The whole point of a metadata agent is to organize hundreds of files at once, no? Just using the title of a film or scene alone does not work.
Also, the regular Data18 agent seems to have an issue with films split into multiple scenes/files. Only one of the files can maintain the metadata.
Stupid, I can’t edit my last post.
Ok, so just an update. I realized that maybe I was going to just have to live with renaming things by number ID’s, but this became too tedious, so I started looking around at the code. I’ve noticed that the regular search is still limited to the single variable search box on Data18. However, Data18 now has a multi-variable search. The url is “?v1=*****&v2=", rather than "?k=”.
I don’t know anything about Python, but I do know how to find my way around code, so give me some time and maybe I can figure this out.
Is Data18 dead? the site redirects me to some weird ad sites. Bummer if it is because I relied heavily on it to organize my library.
Just loaded it fine on my computer.
Does it happen in all browsers or in a private browser window?

It’s happening on all browsers, I even tried it on my phone. What URL are you visiting exactly? The one I’m using is data18.com.
If I enter http://data18.com I get redirected to http://www.data18.com/
Website is down the last tweet data 18 sent out was in April
