[adult] data18.com Metadata Agent - Release

I could not fall asleep, so I quickly wrote a new metadata plug-in that scrapes the data from https://data18.empirestores.co/.

You can grab it from GitHub: https://github.com/PhoenixPlexCode/Data18-Phoenix.bundle

Currently the features of this metadata agent are:

  • Grabs Metadata
  • Title
  • Studio
  • Release Data
  • Porn Stars stored in Actors with photo
  • Categories stored as Genres
  • DVD/Movie cover stored as Movie Poster
  • Video Preview stored as video background

Future Plans are:

  • Automatically grab scene photos for additional background artwork

Let me know how it works out for any of you guys that try using it.

Thanks for the effort!

I’ve tried to install the agent via the way you have indicated:

  • Open Data18-Phoenix.bundle-master.zip and copy the folder inside (Data18-Phoenix.bundle-master) to the plug-ins folders
  • Rename folder to “Data18-Phoenix.bundle” (remove -master)

But when I’m in Plex the agent is nowhere to be found…

I’ve restarted my whole server but it doesn’t want to show up, what am i doing wrong?

I have webTools up and running by the way.

The strange thing is that when I install another agent via the same way (for example https://github.com/PhoenixPlexCode/Blacked.bundle from the same maker) it instantly appears in server settings / agent…

My Plex is running on Open Media Server on a Raspberry Pi

I have the same behavior.
Installed by putting the …bundle in the Plug-Ins directory, doesn’t appear in the Plex Plugin section nor as agent in the library, even after restarts.
Other Plug-Ins are picked up of course.

Oke it now shows up!

What i’ve done is to take the folders Libraries and Resources of https://github.com/PhoenixPlexCode/Blacked.bundle and copied them into the folder Contents of Data18-Phoenix.bundle.

Sorry guys, that should be fixed now. If you go ahead and redownload it now it should work. Some files for some reason didn’t get uploaded to GitHub when I did the initial commit. These were some of the files that @Insickin pointed out in his temporary work around. All files are now properly on GitHub now.

Will it in time be able to grab scenes?

In my joy I completly missed the point where it said full movies only :-/

All my scenes were converted to the movie the scene came from upon refreshing. So now I have a ton of scenes from movies, but the metadata is the full movie

Who knows if Data18 will ever continue their site db of scenes. So I don’t know if the Data18-Content agent can ever be rewritten.

I’ve been working on a new metadata agent that searches individual sites. I’ve been adding sites in my free time that have the ability for me to scrape their websites(mainly dependent on a good site search on their behalf). It’s in development and probably will be forever just due to the nature of it seeming like a never ending project. You can check out the forum post I just made for it here: [adult] PhoenixAdult - Multisite Adult Metadata Agent - Development

Not entirely sure whats going on but the agents keep getting removed. Any insight before i start digging in?

NM looks like its a chrome cache issue.

That’s something I haven’t heard of happening yet. I just pushed an update to GitHub that may fix it. Grab that and do a plex server restart and a complete page refresh on any open Plex browser windows.

@PhoenixUser worked like a charm but today I am not getting hits. Tried to match Misha in Exile and did not get returns.

Okay. I see what’s going on. Seems now that if the search on their search returns a single match it redirects to the movie page instead of listing results. Working on a fix now.

Fix has been released to handle search returning single result and redirects.

Hi @PhoenixUser

just tried to make some matches. I have found the Rocco’s Psycho Teens 12 on their web no problem, but when doing it on Plex it pulls only up to 11. A bit bizarre… Any ideas?

I noticed when I add info from Data18.com for a film the thumbnail for the actors are all blank just three names, how do I fix this?

I’m finding certain titles which can be found no problems in a manual search on Data 18 but which fail to list when searched using the agent in Plex.

Actually now I can’t get any of the actors pics in the cast to come up & using the data18-phoenix can’t even find any results when looking for a dvd.

Make your own: https://collectioncovers.com/

I use Plex colors from here: http://brand.plex.tv/d/qxmJ3odkK0fj/plex-style-guide#/basics/color-palettes

I think something goes wrong with the meta agent, he worked fine but now the meta agent don’t match any content with the movie usually i have the content named like this

Private - Gold 06 - Cape Town 2.avi

and now he can’t find anything

I am experiencing issues with all my plugins lately. Data18 and PhoenixAdult. Is anyone else having issues matching files?
