Since the last topic was closed, I still have a question. As it’s not considered a bug, (I still feel it’s a bug, but hey), how about an advanced global user setting where you can set and force subtitle settings (might be good for the visually impaired users too). What I would like to see is the possibility to:
- set the font size (fixed, so ignore size in subtitle embedded streams or vob/srt files)
- set the font color (yellow, white, …)
- set the background (none, black, and transparency)
- set the shadow (none, black, offset,…)
- set the position (y-offset)
