Advice for a new system

Hello everyone,

I currently have a QNAP TS-453Be in use. It works very well so far, but it is now very old and I would like to set up a new system. I also want to run some VMs, so the performance is no longer sufficient.

I was thinking about an HP Microserver and wanted to ask what would be the best config to achieve good performance with Plex.
Xeon or i5/i7 CPU? Graphics card?
I have a lot of 4K movies with subtitles.
