I setup nginx (raw) to proxy traffic via wireguard to my local network, I consistently had issues with stale sessions. When terminating in Tautulli it says session key invalid, I also had other weird issues however I am unsure if it was the latest plex pass updates (where my db is 30+gb) or if its the nginx config. I also got people finishing something, and then their session just showing paused - when I ask my friend if everything okay they say no kept cutting out and eventually they just closed the player.
Could anyone that is reliably using nginx to proxy please post their configuration so I can compare? I have seen everything from passing explicit headers to just a simple proxy_pass. Is reverse proxy a ‘supported’ method from Plex?
Not sure where to start to debug. I rolled back to 1.41.7.9717 and just forwarding port to check stability again, then I will trial either the update for a while or try the proxy on this version.
