i am a japanese Plex user using with NAS Synology
and i found myself engage in very big problem
when i search for the right metadata for my movie collection.
first of all, i realize that if i choose “Plex Movie” as my agent
in detail setting, i am not allowed to choose “Japan” as my country.
secondly, i even discover some of my libraries
do not allow me to choose “Japanese” as the metadata language
all in all,
i found that there are so few agents offer movie database in japanese language
do anyone here have the same problem as me?
or is there any solutions already?

actually i am already using japanese interface of Plex
i think the translation progress of the japanese interface now is acceptable
and i am certainly willing to help the progress if i have time too…
but actually the most i concern now is the movie metadata online database.
i can see it links to moviedb.org
but it seems that what i updated in the website
do not reflect in my Plex immediately.
so i wonder why.
i think i would like to have a concrete answer for the following questions:
- the “movie database” agent do not have “Japanese” and “Japan” option to choose in the dropdown menu, why? is it intentional? (is it becoz of this so i cannot see what i updated in the website reflect my Plex?)
- how much time does it need to reflect in my own Plex, if i go to the website moviedb.org and add the japanese movie details myself? (i dun mind to fill up the database myself, but i want to know if it is worth to do so.)
- if moviedb.org agent is not the only source of japanese metadata, are there any other better japanese database agent that would be useful instead? any recommendation would be apprecated.

The Japanese option for The Movie Database is missing right now, is it something that Plex has to fix?
