Airplay from iPhone to Apple TV - HDCP errors (never had them before)

Server Version#: 1.32.8.7639
Player Version#: 8.3x (the numbers are so freaking small it’s hard to read the last digit!)

Suddenly I’m having an issue with using Airplay on Plex. Never had a problem until last night.

I’m used to using Airplay so I can play videos I have on my server on my iPhone, using Airplay, so they come up on my AppleTV. Never had an issue. Suddenly, after playing one episode through, when it’s time to start the next episode, I get a message about a problem with HDCP. Nothing specific, but just that there’s a problem.

Tonight that happened once. Then I tried a few other options, and came back and tried Plex again. This time it wouldn’t start and gave me the HDCP error. I cleared it and pressed Play again and it started playing, using Airplay, as I wanted, and playing from the iPhone to the AppleTV.

I’m also wondering if this could be related to bandwidth. Last night we got home from dinner and there had been a thunderstorm. I had to go out and fix something on our Starlink setup due to lightning. I also found that one node on our wifi network wasn’t connecting through the ethernet cable to the LAN, so I had to move it to another room. (Apparently lightning may have fried the CAT5e cable on the exterior wall - that’s happened before.) I’m not sure, I haven’t had time to test it thoroughly, but I’m questioning whether the wifi is working as well as it has in the past.

As I said, this was never an issue before.

Is this something that’s changed in a Plex or iOS update?
