I’d like to see an album count displayed on my tablet and phone also.
If you set your library to Albums, it will show the album count. If you sort the albums by “Date Added,” the album(s) you are adding will appear at the top of the list.

I’d like to have an album count displayed on my ipad like that on the server/web. All it says on the ipad is Albums while the server/web displays 62 Albums.
Ah, ok. You should probably change the tag on the post to IOS instead of plex-web. Might make it easier for people to find and vote.
While it’s not showing on an artist page, the screenshot posted by backfield still applies (you’ll see the number of albums if you set the library to display albums and filter according to whatever criteria you’re aiming for).
