Not sure if others have this issue, but sometimes when trying to play an album using the Plex Alexa Skill, it doesn’t match results very accurately. For example I have two albums in my music one name “Hymns of the Father” and one named “Hymns of the Father (instrumentals)” if I say “Alexa ask Plex to play the album Hymns of the Father”, it always plays the instrumental one, even though there’s a better match.
Another example is that I have some kids albums by “G.T. and The Halo Express” and If I say “Alexa ask Plex to play G.T. and The Halo Express” is says no match was found for GT. It’s like it stops at the word and. If however I say “Alexa ask Plex to play The Halo Express” it says “Playing albums by G.T. and The Halo Express”
Just wondering if there anyway the Plex team could work on some betters command recognition on artist and albums names. Maybe if it finds multiple similar album/artists it could ask which one you want to play or something.
