All devices Plex Player apps fail loading complete mp4 videos

Having issues with Plex Player apps playing music videos (mp4s). I can play mp4 movie files ok, as far as I can tell. I have been running my Plex server for years, it’s been running great with no major issues when playing movies or any videos. Now all of a sudden I can no longer play recently added music (mp4) videos all the way through using the ‘Plex app’ on my devices. My devices include: Plex app on (2022) Sony a80j tv, (2019) Shield Pro and the Win Plex app (PMP) on my pc’s (W10Pro i7-3770 & W11Pro i5-9500). Plex stops loading the video, usually towards the beginning, anywhere from around the 1/3rd to ½ way point. Then it stalls, on tv or Shield it says ‘connection too weak’. I’ve had the Music video library for years, never had any issue. I have a hardwire connection to all of my devices (Shield, tv, pc’s) so no wifi involved here. I first noticed this on my Plex app on my Sony tv days ago, been trying to troubleshoot ever since. I am a retired computer tech, which I started in the 70’s (45 yrs), I’ve been pulling my hair out! My test speed (Spectrum) is well over 300mbs, on ALL of my devices and pc’s. I can play any 50, 70mb or larger 4k movie just fine. I can play all the same songs just fine on any of my 3 web browsers (Chrome, Edge or Firefox), logged into Plex on any of my pc’s. I can play all of the videos fine on my Shield and my tv when using different apps (vlc, kodi, etc). It happens to several songs when using the Plex app on the associated device. Some are 1080p but most are 720. Most are basic AVC, 30 or 60 fps, mp4s. I typically grab Yt videos and run them through the ‘4k Video Downloader’ app to get the mp4s, been doing it for years. The Dashboard shows no transcoding, just buffering. The cpu/memory usage is normal. I looked in the logs and see buffering but I don’t really see any other errors, although I don’t know what to look for or match on. I rarely ever look at Plex logs as I’ve never had a reason. I have not changed any settings but Is there a setting in the server that I can check that could possibly cause the Plex Player to stop loading? I’m willing to try anything, just don’t want to reinstall Plex! Please help!

I have been doing more troubleshooting. A mp4 file that is HE-AAC fails to play at original quality of 0.9Mbps, 720p HD. But will finally play ok if I set it down to 0.7M, 328p, but has poor video. Then another file that’s also HE-AAC fails at original quality 2.2M, 720p HD, but plays ok at 2M, 720 HD. This makes no sense to me, especially when I’m hardwired all around! I turned Verbose on for logs, but I’m not sure what to look for, I didn’t see anything obvious. I wish we could get it back to normal, as in was in the past where it would play ALL of my mp4s normally on ALL of my devices, like they still do on my web browsers when logged into Plex!
