All my libraries gone with latest pms update?!?

Server Version#:1.25.3.5385
Running on Ubuntu 18.06 LTS

I got some updates from the Plex repo apparently… When I tried to run Plex Player as I usually do during dinner, I was confronted to a “1st-run Setup”. System asked me what was my username, how I wanted to run Plex… Wait a minute???

I got out of this, went straight to my files. All files are there. But somehow, Plex does not recognize the mount as it has always been. For some reason, at the start of the 1st run setup, ALL MY LIBRAIRIES WERE DELETED.

I have several hundred hours put into this stuff, thousands of movies and series… Luckily all is still in the drives, but as I am trying to create a new library, Plex does not see the drives.

My files are on a USB drive array., mounted at /media/user/Storage1 and /media/user/Storage2. PMS, which is on the same system, cannot see these drives. When I try to browse, no way to find them.

What the hell was changed?? Can anyone give me a hand here, I’m going out of my mind.

(Note: when I navigate to /dev/disk/ to add the mounted drives, I see a bunch of grayed out names. Looks like permissions are out of whack. And I know f-all about linux permissions. How do I fix this?)

EDIT: Looks as though the Plex installer modified the permissions of my drive Storage 1. Somehow, I can access these files just fine from the Ubuntu server it’s hooked up to - but where I was once able to see the drive my Storage 1 AND Storage 2 from, say, my Mac or my Windows 10 PC, NOW I can only see Storage 2. And the problem still persists: there is no way to detect BOTH these drives from within PMS on Ubuntu. (sigh)
